Zachor CHAIR

The Holocaust B’nai Mitzvah Project”, part of the Remember-Us.org project, was in part the inspiration for this memorial chair and its custom designed cover.

This design was custom made for a family’s donation to their synagogue bima, in honor of their grandchild’s b’nai mitzvah and in memory of a child from their family that was lost in the Holocaust.

The image of the butterfly is a nod to the poem by Pavel Friedman. The word zachor, remember, also leads us to reflect on all those children lost, who we now try to remember.
